There is a girl who is chained to the center of a circle.
The chain itself is 12 years long.
Her arm can only extend out 13 hours.
She is trapped within time.
Every hour that passes after those 13 hours
She loses an hour of her memory for the previous day.
She began to write down everything that happened.
She rated food on a scale of 1 to 10.
If the event was not worthwhile, she wouldn't write it.
If she forgets to write to the new person of tomorrow
Then her memories will only be of her life before she was 12.
One day she meets this person at an abandoned train station.
He asks if he can sit down with her
She says that he can. They talk for a while; then he leaves.
When he is leaving, she makes him promise to return the next day.
When he arrives the next day, she is waiting.
She asks if he is the person she met yesterday.
She explains that she cannot remember anything after 13 hours.
Her goal in life is to write a novel, but how can she?
He tells her that he will help her write the story.
They write and write. After 5 months of writing they finish.
She tells him to meet her on the roof in 8 minutes.
When he arrives at the roof she is waiting.
She tells him that she cannot stay with him.
She takes every note that she has written about him and lets them go.
He runs off of the roof following the papers.
They fly all over the city, to every corner of this mirror city.
After searching all night, he goes to the station and waits for her.
When she arrives there she says hello, and asks the stranger for his name.
