Concerning the 1.3 update, i believe that many of these changes may be able to benefit minecrafters in many different ways. For instance, many of us know that they are increasing the villager breeding rate, which may result in very large population spikes in the next update. I know that not many players may view this as an improvement, but due to the villagers new function, trading, that concept is on the contrary. Many mincrafters are excited for the new villager trading such as my good friend Warrior Demeros, who commented on the update.(Check out his stuff guys!) He said he was very excited the new trading system, and that the villagers even had their own new currency, the brand new ore; emerald.

Concerning the brand new structures that are in 1.3, the brand new desert villages, fully equipped with sandstone buildings, are now available for viewing and cultivation around your minecraft world. Another new desert structure is the pyramid. Legend has it that somewhere inside the pyramid is a secret chamber, where the remains of a pharoah once living is, with all of his treasure.
Also, in the jungles, there are the new jungle temples that may or may not include traps and treasure, so good luck with that guys!

To our multiplayer friends that are afraid of griefers ransacking their creations, fear no more, for the newly added tripwires are an almost unseen redstone activator that will impede any griefer from destroying your hard work.
