Notch posted a picture about animal breeding, and you can see that he is playing 1.9 pre-release2. So there might be a new pre-release comming soon. Notch allso posted this on twitter "they wont stop breeding (link to the pic) So there might be some problems with breeding right now. We may have to wait a little while for a new pre-release.

The one on minecraftforums is the first pre-release.

And I didnt see a 2nd version download on google or forums.
