What are some things you'd like the reader to know about you before we begin?
Hi there! My name is Justaflqmingo, and I am a passionate minecraft skinner and 3D modeler who practices the skinning style known as Hive Style: a style that originated from the bedrock version of the Hive, a Minecraft server.
I've only been here for a year, but I feel I've made my mark on this community in my short time here.
How did you find PMC and why did you join?
I actually found PMC for the first time when I was looking at a bunch of texture packs.
How I ended up joining was actually one or two years later, when I would use it to download hive styled skins that I commissioned from friends. After a while, I decided to try making my own skins, so I tried out the editor, and ended up making an account to publish a cape I made.

What sort of PMC-er do you consider yourself?
I consider myself more of a modler/skinner who makes random wall posts whenever I can find time in my busy schedule. I basically have a nonexistent upload schedule, but when I do post my models and skins, I try to make them as best as I can.

What is your opinion on the PMC community?
My opinion on the PMC community is that it is one of the best and friendliest out there, and for that it is really good for getting to know people and sharing your creations! Honestly imo, I love it here a lot and plan to stay awhile.

What is one of your favourite things about PMC?
I have a lot of favorite things about PMC, however, one of my favorites is the cleanliness of everything and the UI. It's pleasant, clean, and the ads aren't really up in your face as much as other websites *cough* skindex *cough*

Are there any PMC-ers that inspire you or whose content/posts you really enjoy?
A few inspirations I look up to would probably be Bubblez705, LegendarySi, and BlueBoyBuilds as they've always inspired me in all sorts of ways that would take too long to write. They’re great! Go subscribe to them, trust me, it'll be worth it :]

What advice would you give to a new PMC-er?
Advice I'd give to a new PMCer would be to have fun, explore the platform and interact with the members to make friends!

You joined PMC in 2023. What kept you here?
The welcoming community and their creativity.

What sort of content do you usually post?
I usually post my hive styled skins and models.
Any advice for someone getting into modeling?
Use blockbench, a 3d modeling software. I would suggest exploring the interface and features until something clicks. Youtube also helps!

What inspired you to make skins in the Hive style?
I always liked Hive style skins and when I saw my friends started making them, I wanted to learn also.

Why did you start making models, and what's your favourite part of doing so?
I did not want to limit myself to the premade canvas of Minecraft skins and would be able to make whatever I wanted. My favorite part of modeling is that my creativity is limitless.

Correct answer to the trolley problem?
I would pull the lever.

If you could make a new country anywhere, what would it be called and what would its climate/culture be like?
I would make a new country in space called Flamongus. Its climate would be tropical and there would be a trend of dressing like flamingos in spacesuits :P.

What inspired your persona? (If you have one?)
It was inspired, and by inspired I mean copied from my IRL and an one of my favorite outfits I wore when I made the skin.

Why is your username?
It's actually a tribute to my original Xbox gamer, Flamingstone5.

What are some hobbies you enjoy?
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, playing Halo and Minecraft, making skins and models.

What do you usually do outside of PMC (online or irl)?

Do you play Minecraft, and, if so, what is your favourite part of the game?
Yes, my favorite part of the game is being able to play on multiplayer servers like the Hive!

What are some things you are planning to/would like to do in the future?
I would like to start a youTube channel about the Hive, my models, and my skins.

What is your favourite (or some of your favourite) colour combinations?
My favorite mega color combo would be viva magenta, light blue, yellow, light green, and purple which are the colors of my hoodie. On the more simple side, I've always liked dark blue and orange and digital camo. While I do like bright and cheerful colors, I do absolutely love and wear darker colored clothing!

Halo and Minecraft.

I wear hoodies 24/7 in 90 degree weather lol.
