Introduction

It seems these days that one project and only one can make you famous on the Planet Minecraft Forums. For example recently I acquired a certain project from a certain Planetmincrafter that was a zombie survival in a plane. It was terrible! I completed it in near seconds by just waking through the zombies in the diamond armour provided up into the cabin blew open the door to escape with TNT and jumped into the life raft. All in all it took be around 15to 20 seconds after getting to grips with the map. This here demonstrates that anyone can get around 50 diamonds and around 20000 views and the rank of grandmaster architect. In ruffly about the time it has taken me to write three of these blogs (around an hour). All this can be done if you know how to market correctly and tag along with the latest and greatest schemes.

The tricks of the trade

Many of the most highly rated creations I have seen have been either had there map rendered in an external software, a good texture pack or just some cool picture bonded together with some buzzwords that make a good title. Buzzwords are either stuff that sounds cool or are some new rave. For example if I title a server Called: Call of Minecraft Survival games all MW3 maps to play on. Then I will get a heck load of viewers. However you cannot lie with buzzwords. It must be something relevant to the real thing. Lets say I use the title Aftershock Survival map (made that up but it sounds cool) But really the project is a pink pony, well that isno t going to go down well. A sneaky example of this is my blog called A bloggers Horror , it got a decent reaction and attracts people with a mysterious title.

Disguising your project with the truth

Recently I found a very crafty Planetminecrafter who made a mini-game any did an impressive video of his project exterior. Note that he did not actually show any of the game play, this gave me a sneaking suspicion that it wasno t as good as it looked. And yes I was right but it enticed me to download the map and he obviously did put a lot of time in the map so it discouraged me and many others from leaving bad comments. As we all knew we had been outsmarted.
