A Merit Based Server List

Hey guys! I'm thinking about compiling a server list based solely on the quality of a server. What this means is, I will be examining servers and sorting them by their ability to creatively use Minecraft to create a unique multiplayer environment. There will be multiple categories on this list and you can enter your server into many categories. Note that some servers will not make it on this list. Some servers that are far too generic like most basic hub servers with skywars or factions servers will not make it on the list. However, if you can do something generic in a way that is unique or exceptional, you can make it on the list. This mean even a standard survival server can make it on the list if the concept is creative enough.

The primary intent of this list is to help small creators with unique ideas find a larger audience. Though, large successful servers will not be exempt from this list if they are creative enough.

The Current Categories:

Survival - Servers that pride themselves on having a unique or refined survival experience.





Creative - Servers that have a unique take on the creative mode or are useful for builders.





PvP - Servers that have a primary focus on combat that is more unique than plain minecraft pvp.




Custom Modes - Servers that have designed a unique custom mode from the ground up.





RPG - Servers with a variety of well thought out role-play elements.




Networks - Servers that host a variety of unique gamemodes connected through various hubs.

I will visit them and personally evaluate them to see if they belong on the list. If you have an idea for a new category on this list, I will add that as well. If a server makes it onto the list, I will write a small description of the server and place it onto the list under the categories it belongs in.
