This short story explains the pretext and conflict of Meteor Flies against the whole galaxy in the perspective of San'narr, the perfect successor of one certain Void Lord that got banished during Arkouda's diplomatic mission.
Also created as a response satire to these leaky Covid-19 "vaccines". I would appreciate if anyone could give me some alternative words for a more subtle experience. :))

With the incarnation of Zene'darr shattered into pieces, a feeling of sadness and emptiness permeated. Without another distraction, the flies would screw themselves with their own hubris, having been prevalent since the exile.
And so, in response to the recent demise, some sort of "vaccine" has been created to remedy the curse, hoping to restore our species to our rightful place. The ritualists had the full support from those desperating for salvation, despite the concerns of evil intentions behind the project.
And that time comes. The vaccine was completed, but only some at a time could be eligible for being administered.
That was the first step to another strife. When 2/3 of the survivors had been administered with this "vaccine", there was something wrong with them.
It turned out to be a fake cure. The vaccine didn't actually benefit the populace at all. Rather, it weakened their immune systems and empowered the contained evil inside themselves.
These ritualists had their own plans in mind - controlling their brethrens. And side effects were to be expected.
...
Unwilling to join the others in this corruption, the untouched hatched their motion, planting meteors to end the vaccine-producing rituals. Though half of the production was gone, the destruction was deeply felt by San'narr and several of his high-priests that were all vaccinated.
They couldn't accept the fact that these so-called "impure" wanted to deprive the ruling class of their vessels of power.
...
"If unchecked, they would even impose the curse on ourselves. We mustn't hesitate to force our remaining vaccines upon them", the high-priest said.
San'narr grudgingly nodded, and authorized the "pure" to release their stigma into their unwilling to be experimented.
And a civil war broke between the two of different slates.
The "pure" outnumbered them two-fold. Though some of them became aware of their deep corruption inside, it wasn't enough to turn the tide.
In desperation, the pure rocks enacted another contigency. A giant asteroid was to be redirected into the core, splitting their own homeworld into many pieces. Many from both sides perished.
...
This act had awakened a few more of the "pure", but others remained more hostile to the "impure". Their dying husks vowed to hunt them at all costs, until all "non-indoctrinated" were dead.
Some had to go into hiding, patiently waiting for the right moment to release them from the curse.
