Adding texture packs to minecraft (Mac)

Intro


Hello. This is my first blog so if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell. (Just nothing mean) There are a lot of people out there who don't really know how to do much with Minecraft except maybe just build something. There's more to Minecraft than that. I'm going to be showing you that in my blog.


The how-to


First of all, download the texture pack. There are quite a few of them here on PMC. After you have done that, it should most likely appear as a folder in your downloads. If so, drag that out onto your desktop. Once you open up Minecraft, there's an option saying texture packs on the main menu. Click that. When it opens up it should most likely show the default (If you haven't download a texture pack yes, that is). Now click on open texture pack folder. It should open up finder. In there it should either have 1 or no files. Drag that texture pack from your desktop into that folder. (A folder into a folder :3) Anyway, if it worked out successfully, it should appear in the texture pack area. Click on it (It might take a few seconds) and it'll change right away. One that I know for a fact works for mac and is a good starter texture pack is GoodMorningCraft.

Thank you dude. I will try it and tell u the results in a bit! :) I've been trying to get a texture for a long time. A recommendation is you tell how to get mods on a mac, but for texture packs, this is good. Another recommendation is that you should check out the pack called:
Strongest Craft
It's a x-ray texture. :D

Cool. I've been waiting for someone to actually use this hahah. Sub to me for more mac tutorials. Next I think I'll do how to load people's saves. And PM me when you use it and tell me if it worked! :D
