ADMINS GONE CRAZY
I don't know where this actually goes, so I'm just gonna stick it in story. Anyway, what I have decided to type about is the abusive things server admins sometimes do. I really am only going to write about one incident, because it really has a kind of humorous side to it. I was on a server creating faction stuff, claiming land and selling ores when I saw an interesting argument going on in the chat. I'm not going to put down names, so I'll just have it like this: Bob: "Hey, I have been on this server for a while, so do you think that you could give me some kind of promotion?" Admin: "No, you are a naive little boy." Bob: "I am a teen, so shouldn't you not say 'naive little boy' to me?" Admin: "It's those thoughts that make you a naive little boy, and that is why I'm not going to give you any promotions." Bob: "Come on, just a small promotion so that I can learn some stuff about servers. I'm soon going to be starting my own server." Admin: "Your server is going to suck, and the only people who are going to go on it are *********s, but maybe I can think of a rank to give you." Bob: "What rank is it?" Admin: "TP to me if you want to see." Bob, being a naive little boy, fell for that. He TP'd to th Admin. Right after that this message was broadcast : "Bob was killed by falling anvil". It kept on coming up, with the only interruptions being the occasional wtf's from Bob, until it stopped, and the admin said: "Hahaha, you ******t! I don't suggest asking for another upgrade!" At this point Bob had been taking some time to write out his message. Bob: "Hey that is mean can you stop, I lost all of my items, and I didn't do anything wrong!" Admin: "You aren't allowed to advertise other servers, and you tried advertising your own." Bob: "It isn't up, but when it is it will be much better than yours! Anyone who agrees type 'OOO'!" There were about 15 of us on, and a whole minute passed before Bob resent that same message. Nobody replied. We were all too scared of what would happen to us. One thing I remember about that incident is that I would never be able to look at Bob and not feel guilty for not saying anything... It was at that point that I actually had to get off, so I didn't get to see how the rest played out Anyway, what I typed is the cleaned up version, meaning that it doesn't have the extreme bad spelling. I also of course didn't use the real name of Bob, nor did I give the server IP. Anyway, I find it quite impressive how the Admin was able to repeatedly kill Bob using falling anvils, and I find it kind of weird that Bob was so nice about everything. Most people usually storm off swearing and sticking down inappropriate signs, but Bob just really seemed to love the server, or it would seem that way since I saw him on several other times after the incident.
