So lately I have been browsing servers because the one I usually play on is getting old. And I realized something, Server admins are usually kinda (To put in kindly) unresponsive and careless. And so I decided to tell you all about it.

Personal Experiences
Grim_Weaper's Personal Experiences. (Me)
#1. So I have been playing on a server a lot. For about 7 months. I am a mod and am friends with most that come and go. But every time the admin gets on he abuses his power. Breaking all his own rules, typing in ONLY all caps. Banning/kicking/jailing people for fun, E.T.C.
So I confront him. I was de-modded and temporarily banned.
Q. & A.
What are they doing?
They are never on and when they are seem to not care, or boss everyone around and abuse power.
Why should they do anything differently? It's their server!
Well, when you have a server you are putting yourself in a position of power that you don't always deserve, and you are also promising people that you will keep them entertained and happy while they spend time on your server.
So from that point on it is up to YOU to keep a good/happy community on your server.
How can they do better?
This is the easy part. All they need to do is go on there server regularly, and keep everyone happy by listening to there demands! (Or if you can't, at least let them down gently. If you are a boss at a company and you tell someone, "You're Fired" then you are liable if they get depressed or kill them selves. That's why you have to let them down gently.)
Ok, I see. But what can we do?
Nothing. Like I said they are usually pretty unresponsive. Just leave the server. (I know, no revenge sucks.)
If you have any personal experiences with bad admins then please leave a comment below with you Minecraft name and your experiences and I will incorporate them with in the post!
*This is a generalization and does not apply to all admins, just most.*
