It's been a week since I woke from my coma. I think it's time for me to go out into the world. I scavenged the ward for supplies and weapons. Found a machete, a MRE, a flashlight and a bottle of water. Think someone holed up here temporarily. That would explain the leftover food. I open the door to the ward. I walk out into the corridor. Pitch black. I flick on my torch. I then see it. I look upon a hastily written not lying on the floor outside the ward. I read:
