Ungrateful Noobs?
Well have you ever been to school and ask your friends that have been playing Minecraft about... well, Minecraft? Do they ever say "Shut up about freaking Minecraft, it is extremely boring and very old?" Well you are not alone! And it is not just you and I, it is about 80% of all users on PMC in which have a mass amount of friends with the majority hating Minecraft for the following
- It is 'old'
- It is boring
- It is not violent enough
- It is babyish
- They say that you suck at it, now the whole game sucks
- They are bullies
Well, then people need to play it again?
What Does it Mean?
When you find someone like me who plays MC nearly 24/7, it can be a massive insult to say the things listed above. People who have been playing since Alpha are the most likely to hate Minecraft due to it's age.
- It is old: They have been playing for allot longer than you, but that's fine! They might have gotten sick of it, but should not hate you for still playing it.
- It is boring: Well, I don't know what's wrong with them, nothing is better than a game where you can do almost anything! But it might not be their interest and they should learn that everybody's open to their own opinion
- It is not violent enough: COD is an addictive game, but an over addiction has gotten teenagers to go killing people. If they think this, they should completely cut the violent games, whether they play Minecraft afterwards or not. But we can talk about this some other time.
- It is babyish: They should change the textures to blood and gore etc. so it looks better to them. Otherwise put in some mods
- They say you suck at it, now the whole game sucks: They obviously hate you. Normal bullying routines should be put in place
- They are bullies: Mentioned above
But just remember, not everyone is into games like Minecraft!
When Will Minecraft Die?
Minecraft is estimated to 'die' in around 2015-2020. It will die earlier if people start raging on hate comments about it and telling others that it sucks, it will die from 2013-2017. We want it to die later than 2020, so you want to keep playing Minecraft all the time, and don't let the haters influence you in any way.
Can We Make A Difference?
Yes! It is communities like PMC and MCForums keeping Minecraft alive. The more interesting features adding, the more interesting the game gets. The more platforms (iOS, Xbox 360 etc.) the game runs on, the more people can play it. All these things are what is keeping the game alive. You can help by telling new people to paly and not letting the haters give you influence of any kind. Give the community your ideas for the game, and maybe Jeb might see them and implement them! The list is endless.
Conclusion:
I believe Minecraft is a great game! Others might not think so. That is ok, but as long as the people who are playing Minecraft do things to keep it alive, it will stay alive until the time comes!

its funny because they play other games and get membership and still love those...
Nobody likes everything
But then again I haven't found much games with this much creativity ever
Hopefully Jeb will keep making Minecraft awesome
i play but about 10 days later i got bored so i play roblox(roblox sucks now)
well when it come to 1.7 i said i dont want to play minecraft anymore because of enderman
but when 1.8 comes LET'S Explode EVERYTHING well the minecraft crash because to much exploding soon 1.0 i discover fvdisco then i made maps and love redstone
ok (i think i miss Roblox i want to play it again) :P
well, if they show it, my sis used to play mc but she got bored of it and since she couldnt get a refund on her account -i got it but dont use it that much- so she h8's it, but she dosn't show it, like ever,
however, my friend -zane1f4- sister didnt even TRY playing it and she said she h8's it because of the low resolution, i saw thats one of the good things about it
