Okay... So I noticed there are many players who ask to become admins/moderators/staff on a server they log into for the first minute of playing... This is becoming annoying and i'm sure every server who plans to run a community will agree with me.

First of all.. For those who want to become staff on a successful minecraft server, you must NEVER ask to become staff. Asking will show impatience, impatience means you are in a hurry to become staff which will show lack of dedication and being dedicated is very important on any server because that is what builds the community.

Patience - Be patient, don't ask for admin and play the server until you have enough knowledge about the server and community to help new players and welcome them. You should do this when you are online, not only when you are asked to.

Dedication - Dedication is very important. Being dedicated to a community means everything. By enjoying the server and helping new players and communicating with staff members and volunteering to help the community not only to become admin but because you like the server and community and you want to help and expand the growth.

Trust - Trust is the least but most important on this list. Trust is given to a player when he shows dedication, and trust can be broken at any time the person wants to break it. Trust is something you will have to accomplish by being dedicated and when you reach this stage is when you have probably become an admin already :) Don't lose your trust because you worked your way up and its a waste to lose what you gained.

If you have any questions about becoming a staff members or want to post a suggestion to readers, you may do so. Thank you!

You are so right, those things are very important. One trait I would add is Honesty. Like most people that puts in a staff application lie about how much experience they have. So if you don't have any, just be patient and wait till the admin of the server sees a good staff member and ops you.

I agree! I own Chukland And I'm so sick of pepole asking: Can i be op?

I think they should do the following three thing before asking:
