Automatic Mob Killer Tutorial

This is something I came up with while playing around :P

So ok, I've seen some mob spawners that are better than this, but I don't care, still I think this is good, NOTE, this is not the spawner part, this is the murderer part >:D

Step 1: Create a redstone ticker like so (NOTE the lever is not necessary I used it to pause the ticking for now) THE REPEATER MUST BE AT 2 TICKS OR THE CIRCUT WILL BURN OUT!



Step 2: Place a block of whatever on top of the redstone torch then on top of that, a dispenser with arrows and/or fire charges.



Step 3: As you can see, if you remove the arrow, the dispenser will never cease to fire your ammunition, that's a bad thing. We want to make it fire ONLY when a mob is there.



Step 4: To prevent that, just do as follows. THE PRESSURE PLATE MUST BE STONE! This is because mobs tend to drop items and wooden pressure plates get activated when entities of any kind stand on it. Stone pressure plates only activate when there is a mob.



Step 4: Now all you have to do is test it. What I did was stand on the plate, and yes, it worked. The dispenser fired at me when I was on the pressure pad and ceased-fire when I jumped off. As you can see, when I am stnading in front of the dispenser, it fires.



Step 5: LAST STEP: I did not do this myself and of course, since this is original, couldn't find a picture of this last step, but all you have to do is connect this 'contraption' to your mob trap.
