Entry 1
This is the official blog for Awakened City RP / PvP server which is where i will post updates that have gone on through the week, the updates will include ideas that have been thought of, website development, plugin development, recruitment advancement on all the over stuff. This is a place where you can post your ideas for the server aswell and you will be credited if i decide to use your idea. Official recruitment will go up on the Forums under the Server Recruitment: Help Wanted, so keep your eye on that forum once i am ready to recruit people.which will include admins, plugins developer, moderators, Server Masters, beta testers and other people i will explain more in good time.
Lets start this blog with one of the cinematic we are going to have on the Awakened City YouTube channel, yes Awakened City is going to have a YouTube account, a Facebook account and a Twitter account so that people can stay up with the updates before the big release and can see when updates are coming etc. Anyway lets start
Trailer (1)
Basically in this specific trailer it explains the world, the factions, the war and a bit of the back-story of the server. The way it is going to start is that you will have a god and this god is full of wisdom and he is looking through some old ancient tomes from another world named Krasnodar (the god world) , and his orb starts to radiate with a magical power that it has never done before, so he starts to walk over to his orb but when he starts to get close to the orb the orb explodes into a load of images, and one of the images is one of the worlds named Mythador and how it is in grave danger from the Dwarf King and his council men, another image is of the dwarf sacrificing him self to the old ancient portal that connects the Abaculus (hell of Mythador) to the living world, another image is of some dwarfs escaping from the city from the airstrip on a couple of gyrocopters (dwarf helicopters). there are some images of the races fighting each other over ground as the dwarfs fly over, the dwarfs spot a forested island with a mountain and land there to get shelter for the night to sleep since the gyrocopters are low on fuel aswell. No one knows of the tragic truth that has happened in the dwarf city apart from the refugees.

At the start of this trailer, it begins with "a few months since the dwarf city over taking" (or something along those lines), The dwarfs seem to have settled on the little island and have started a little community with kids and parents and seem to be living like they would in the dwarf city (they have settled like hobbits from LOTR in hovels) then the cinematic skips to the new born leader of the refugee dwarfs with his new council men and are talking about diplomacy to the races that they encountered while flying over the main land. They all agree that they should send diplomats to the cities to gain allies and convince the races to help them take over the dwarf city.
These are the only trailers i have thought of so far for the server, if anyone could help me with some ideas down below or in a PM i would credit you at the end in the credits of the video.
What makes this server different from other servers?
Well i have seen many RP / PvP server with races on but what makes my races different are that i have a skin editor that is making the race specific skins and then class skins that match the races, all these skins will be ready for download from our server during the beta testing phase or before the big release.
Skins will involve all the races (humans, elf, nazgrims, wild people, dwarf) and all the classes with the sub classes (cba to write all these out they are pretty much the basic ones from other mmo's and the sub classes are my own thought of)
The final part of the server i will cover this week is the advantages and disadvantages that each race has.
Human -
Advantage: got no disadvantages in classes
Disadvantage: In a economical disadvantage (quests give less money from human quest givers)
Elf -
Advantage: Less strength then other races
Disadvantage: Higher magic resistance + increase on magic pool
Dwarf -
Advantage: Higher strength then other races
Disadvantage: Can not participate in PvP war hubs (due to conflict with being neutral with all the races)
Nazgrims -
Advantage: (Racial Ability) Can separate themselves from the mortal world to spirit world to decrease damage intake for a couple of seconds
Disadvantage: longer cool down on the racial ability then other races
Wild People -
Advantage: higher agility increase then other races
Disadvantage: decrease in stamina then other races.

Hello again i am back for my weekly update, i hope you all liked last week segment and i am glad to say i have began to recruit some people.At the moment this is excluding staff members, i am in need of a radio dj, banner creator and texture pack creators. About the music composers i am going to speak with my music department as school first and if they do not want to do it, i will allow people from PMC to do the music for the server. All music will be placed into a separate video for each song, so each video has it's own song and the credits will go to the original author of the song, so leave your IGN and/or your YouTube channel so people can subscribe to you if they like the music we have posted. Once we have the server up and running you will have your music placed onto the radio website so people can listen to the radio dj and your music at the same time.

Well it has been 18 days since i last updated this, sorry about the long spaces between the updates, i keep burying the blog under real life stuff and server stuff, Well great things have happened since the last update and these include:
Website
Well i will describe what has actually happened since the last update in a bit more detail instead of just giving you a list. Well lets start with the first point which is the website update, i have started on the website now and it is nearly finished just gotta add some more forums to the site and find some staff to run the website such as forum moderators. I have planned how everything is going to go on the website in a word document so i can work off the plan instead of working of the top of my head when working on the site. I know i am using a sub-domain at the moment but just before the release of the first beta testing phase, i will buy the server as it is only $10 p/month. If you would like your server posted on the website for other people to check out i will make a special forum for servers that wanna increase their popularity.
You are probably thinking "? your allowing people to use your website for advertisement" well my answer to that is yes, i like to help other servers become big and with my server going to be around 500 - 700 slots Atleast probably even more maybe in the thousands or actually increase the server slots to unlimited that is if the server comes to my high expectations and becomes as popular as i believe it should be.
Fount a Radio DJ
Yes i have finally fount the radio DJ which is going to be my mate Jacob Longley, he is a very talkative person who will talk to anyone, which is what i would of liked in a radio DJ. He has promised to do Atleast 2 hour every night, the other time that he is not online doing the radio, as he is starting to livestream. We will play the radio no matter if he is online or offline.
There will be special giveaways on the livestream and on the radio that maybe only donators can enter or that everyone can enter or ones that only non-donators can enter. We do giveaways and such things as Minecraft T-shirts, Premium Minecraft accounts (with your choose of username and password) and many other fantastic minecraft related products. Sometimes we will give away other stuff aswell, we will explain the rules and the products we are giving away on the livestream and on the radio. Then Atleast twice a day we will give away some ACSC (Awakened City Server Coins) and other server related stuff.
Trailers:
I have now finished all the plans and the scripts for the trailers of the server, these finished plans include the humans trailer, the savages/wild people trailer, the nazgrims trailer, the elf trailer also the dwarf trailer and then the whole server trailer.
The humans trailer starts off with King's Herald and half of the King's herald gaurds riding on horseback to the human capital and then having a meeting with the king, then ending with scouts overlooking the savages camps to gather information.
The savages / wild people starts off with a patrol coming back with human heads on their weapons and in their hands and then having a big feast of ham, mutton and everything that is meaty goodness. Ending with the head of the clans of the wild people looking up onto the mountains where the majority of the human scouts was sent to gather information on them.
The elf trailer begins with elf magi reawakening a ancient Elven portal to another world, while the high priestess and other high political figures speaking with the king and queen in the temple, then a guard comes in with black eyes looks at the ancient portal the elf magi are reawakening then collapses, the screen then goes black, couple of seconds later the camera does a blinking effect and then you can see all the elf regaining consciousness. The tutorial ends with the Nazgrims war commander face portrayed in the smoky screen of the ancient portal speaking in the Elven and nazgrims native tongue (translation down at the bottom of the screen).
The Nazgrims trailer begins with a couple of nazgrims conferring with the war commander in the native tongue(again translation will be at the bottom of the screen) then you have the seethe blades (nazgrims magi) connecting to the main Elven tree to spy on what the elf are doing in the high temple. It ends just like the elf trailer with the nazgrims war commander speaking in native tongue to the elf that are just regaining consciousness (as per usual there will be a translation down at the bottom of the screen)
Last but not least the dwarf trailer. We will start the dwarf trailer in the beautiful city of Kadra on the Dwarven frozen land, you will see in this trailer dwarf miners locating the ancient portal that is to turn the city into turmoil and destruction, you will also see the Dwarven king turning himself in to the Old God Mar'than for her to use as a vessel to come into the new world, then you will see alot of dwarfs get slaughtered including kids, and parents (this server is going to be as real as possible without destroying the server story line that includes graphic and nude scenes as these happened all the time in medieval times and still do). The trailer will then end with a few dwarfs landing on the island off the coast of the main land where all the main cities are of the races of the server.
Speaking with livestreamer
I have spoken with a few livestreaming people on twitch.tv and have sparked their interest these people include ashleeymarie and shadycast, these people are not big livestreamer but i am not about the popularity of the people i am about their talent and their interaction with the fans and to raise their popularity in the works to maybe some day gain them partnership with twitch and other companies. If you are also a livestreamer and would like to be interested in becoming a streamer for the server please contact me with your livestream URL (this has to be your own, not someone else) if you are found livestreaming on the server without the owners or server masters permission and had it cleared with myself if you have asked other staff members for perm to stream on the server. You will be permantly banned from the server. If i like your livestream and your interaction with the viewers i may accept your stream and give you perm to stream on the server.
Plugins
As said in the list i have created a lot of the plugins i would like to have on the server and how they would work and some names i was thinking of them, but i have NOT created them as i am still concentrating on real life stuff and not finding the time to sit down and concentrate on plugin creation at this moment in time so later on once i have fount my host i will be looking for custom plugin creators that are very experienced as these plugins in my mind will take time and much experience with java plugin creating. I am no java coder i am a C++ coder and have done a few flash games before at school.
Sponsor and Donation Packages
I have now completely finished all the donation and sponsor packages now and they need no more tweaking now. The difference between Sponsor and Donator for the people that don't know. A sponsor is a group of people or a person that donates to the server monthly, then a Donator is a person that donates just 1 time. Everything in the packages excluding a few things are in the website shop for people to buy.
We allow for people to buy singular stuff instead of packages as they may want to just buy a specific thing, but the downside to buying a single thing is that it may cost more than it would if it was in the package.
