Welcome, this is a basic tutorial on how to install a texture pack in minecraft.
Step 1: Locate the .minecraft folder.
Hold the windows key on your keyboard then click R. This will pop up run. Type in " %appdata% in the search bar. Click "OK" you should see .minecraft now.
Step 2: Locate the Texturepacks folder.
When you find the .minecraft folder go into the folder then you should see a folder called texture packs. Open it.
Step 3: Download a texture pack.
Go into the texture pack tab on planetMC and find a texture pack that best suits you. Then download it.
Step 4:
Now that you have the texture pack downloaded, make sure you have the texture packs folder up then drag the zipped file over to the texture packs folder then your done!
Unless the texture pack is a zipped folder in which case you have to download z-zip or win-rar. Just search it on google. Open the zipped pack then place the folder inside into the texture pack folder.
