On my server, KreeperKraft, there will now be regularly scheduled trench battles- battles for famous cities from world war one, two, Vietnam, and others. This Friday we will be having a battle for Ypres. You may ask why we are reenacting historic battles without guns, and this is because merely use bows as a substitution for guns, and swords as a substitution for bayonets. There also will be heavy cannons supporting the "assault troops". The objective for the axis side is to take the bridge (it can be done, but it is unlikely as retreating troops will likely destroy it) and continue up the mountain trail to the "Town capture post" and turn off the light. The objective for the allies is to free a camp of Belgian POWs. This battle will not be exactly accurate, as it will be more of a team building activity/game, but the battles before have been very fun and have been posted on youtube under FrenchGirrafe films. Now, for the DIAMONDS!! the reason you are probably looking at this post. Those who participate in this battle will get diamond armor, diamond swords, a bow, a stack of arrows, and 5000 xp to use for enchanting as well as a stack of cooked chicken. Those who survive can keep these items as long as they don't misuse them. Those who survive the entire battle, winning or losing, will receive a soldiers "compensation" of two diamond blocks.
