BBcode?

Just "What the hell is a BBcode".
Well a BBcode stands for Bulletin Board Code, it's a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards or, put simply code that allows you to make a click able picture that takes you to another webpage. They are useful in making server banners or adding download links to images.

But How is it done?
Well its quite simple really. First you need a picture to encode. Lets take this one.

At the moment you cant click it. :( But if we apply a small bit of code then we can easily use. But before we use the code we need to upload the image to a hosting site like imgur. That's the easy part.
Now you want to open notepad or any text editor you want.
Then paste this in [img][/img]

Now you want to find the link you want the picture to take you to, lets take World of Andromeda webpage.
[bgcolor=rgb(255,255,0)][url=www.worldofandromeda.net/index.php][/bgcolor] like this (remember to paste the address after the[bgcolor=rgb(255,255,0)] =[/bgcolor] sign but before the [bgcolor=rgb(255,255,0)]] [/bgcolor]sign.

Now you are going to need find the picture you uploaded and get that link, so it looks like this, but I have removed the last part so the image wont BBcode. so it should look like this but with the [/url]

so now the banner should appear and then when you hover over the image a small hand should appear and then you can click on it and it should take you to the website you chose. This is what the code should be like.
