This is a well done blog, however there are things missing. For beginner skinners, McSkin3D is a great program to use for skins. Another useful link is How to Report Properly. And regarding the bit about beginner skinners asking more experienced skinners for help, I'm more than happy to.

You have nice points there, Snow. However I disagree with the part that people who start out with no shading or experience in skinning won't succeed. Personally I'd find it better if new skinners developed their own techniques instead of piggy-backing onto other's ideas. It would be nice to see skins have all sorts of different design strategies when being released.

Whats PS? Also what are some good programs to write on? I am a really inspired skinner and have a few amazing skins, I want to start blogging but I don't know a good place to write blogs as pictures

It means "Post Scriptum" in Latin, it's an additional sentence or prhase at the end of a text.
