Ok, so I do think Curtis will be the new hack person thing. But, Felecity [in my book] will never be a Black Canary. She's ruining the comics.

This is a show that is inspired by the Green Arrow. "Arrow" has destroyed every single comic book character they brought into the show like, Slade, Ra's Al Ghul, Huntress, Amanda Waller, Black Canary and even the Green Arrow. The most complaints are for Black Canary, from the beginning Arrow's writers have pissed on the character, she was always sidelined, have horrible stories and they even tried to make the "unlikable" character on the show. I hated how her last words were about Oliver and Felicity, she told Oliver that he will always be the love of her life but Felicity is the love of his (Fucking stupid). Their whole relationship was tainted because Oliver was a terrible person to her and her final words are to make him feel good about himself. The writers have fucked up an important female superhero because they can not do their jobs for writing well rounded female characters. Laurel from the show is so horrible compared to Dinah. Dinah is one of the best fighters in the Dc universe, she's on Batman's combat level and has even been told that she is a better hand to hand fighter than Batman, and the fact that Laurel wouldn't even be able to fight speedy is terrible. Dinah doesn't take shit from anyone, she's stood up to Batman and Wonder woman. Laurel is considered a "Sidekick" she doesn't do anything useful, sometimes she try's to call out Oliver but Oliver always wins arguments against her. Black Canary has only been represented accurately in DC animation, they always show cased her fighting skills first and her Canary Cry second because she is one of, if not the best fighter in the dc universe.

And honestly, people say that Black Canary needs to be apart of "Green Arrow's" story because she is his love interest, but that makes no sense because she would just overshadow him, instead of Oliver fighting the main villain (like Deathstroke) why doesn't Dinah do it, she would have a way better chance at beating Deathstroke. But no, they wanted the character Black Canary on the show, but because they wanted Oliver to be the best, they sidelined her, depowered her and took away her likability. It's just so disrespectful.

The Black Canary character is so important to the Green Arrow mythos. If Laurel falls (and stays down), someone will take take her place, her legacy. I loved Laurel, although was mad at the poor writing and bad representation to her comic book counter part. I feel the writers have been wrapped up too much in who Oliver is going to be with they decided to remove the "competition" by killing off Laurel. They used her as a plot device to make Darhk a "good villain" and to drive the team on edge for the upcoming season finale. I'm very disappointed to be honest have thought about quit watching the show. The beginning (S1 and S2) were definitely my favorite and I think the show has gone down ever since. I hope Season 5 is redeeming to Oliver because they need to go back to the core of the show, the "gray"s of vigilantism. Not a soap opera.
