Cactus... It's mean green and annoying. It's number 1 purpose is to piss you off in the desert, of course number 2 is making green dye. The question though, has anyone thought of number 3?
Cactus is annoying right? Well here is an idea, make it annoying for others.
Step 1:
Mine up as much cactus as possible.
Step 2:
Find a Creeper or Player (Doesn't matter, it just has to be hostile).
Step 3:
As it chases you constantly turn and place two cacti, 1 directly diagonal to the other.

Step 5:
Where is Step 4?
"He's late!"
Step 6:
Watch as they are spiked mercilessly you cruel bastard.
WARNING: Do not attempt on non-sand blocks!
