Can you read?
Can you read? Seems a silly question in today's world since we are all taught to read and write. But in minecraft is appears that everything we learnt about reading and writing and stringing sentences together go flying out the nearest window! So what do I mean by this?
Well I posted my server the other day stating you needed to install Flan's Mod to connect now as my server installed it to improve the server and a lot of player from PMC tried joining and in console it stated it disconnected the user for not having forge mod loader installed. And they kept trying to join and join and then started moaning about how they couldn't connect. Either 1) They are stupid. 2) 12 Year old's. 3) Need to learn to read. It STATES YOU NEED TO INSTALL FLANS MOD AND FLANS MOD NEEDS FORGE MOD LOADER for them to connect but well... doesn't seem to get across that well.
Or you have people who don't follow mod installation instructions and moan blue murder over Dynmap that they followed the instructions but when you help then step by step, guess what? They didn't read that "part". Didn't read the entire thing if you ask me. Or you have the really stupid players who ask for OP or to have a rank or who didn't read the rules and moan blue murder on unban requests that they didn't know what the rules where or they didn't read them.
Lesson for all of PMC and all of the minecraft community:
LEARN TO READ!
