Cant see coordinates?!?

Hey so I want to use my f3 coordinates to get around places e.g im underground and im digging a hole (Diggy Diggy Hole) but i dont want to go all the way up to the surface to look where i got to go because that just takes to long because i cant see my coordinates when i press f3 because it just gets covered with the red lines (Because my computers laggy) Anyone got any tips on how to fix it (And not to buy a new computer! coz i dont have enough money :L )
