Steadily, they crept closer. Taking strides as Steve struck his pickaxe against the gold ore, blissfully unware of the lurking dangers behind him.


All of a sudden, Steve recalled he had a Diamond pickaxe hidden away at the bottom of his chest, he thought. ‘It will get through this ore quicker’. Steve swiftly turns around and too his horror. See’s the two creatures that were lurking behind. Shocked, he lunges back, falling over the ore, dropping his pickaxe. The Zombie, like re-animated flesh swarming toward Steve. Somewhat like locust onto green plants. And crude silhouette of the giant black spider with its luminous, crimson eyes that shot out in the deep shadows of the cave. They both pounced towards Steve. Steve dazed trying to make sense of what’s happening.


Steve snaps. Adrenaline pumping, thinking fast, he takes note of his surroundings. Grabbing the torch, raised above the ore and plunges in the eye of the spider, setting the thing into an eight legged fireball, it hurtled away too the water. Now left defenceless, he jumps for the pickaxe. The zombie twisted, and then a blood curdling moan projected. Steve clasps the pickaxe and throttles, straight at the zombie taking off its arm then slashing into his chest, this barley did nothing. Steve then lunges it into the zombie’s chest and pushes him back into the lava, burning it to a crisp. Returns the slightly burnt spider, Steve reflexes, hurtles the pickaxe into the spiders head. shattering it.
