How to Cheat in every Minecraft World
-one of the first tutorials I ever posted on this site

Hello folks! Do you ever wanted to use creative mode in your world?
Do you ever wanted to use ingame nbtedit and other command based mods in your world?
Is your world set on ''No cheats''?
I know a way without any mods to change the basic options for your world!

Tutorial
1.Download the program NBT-Explorer, a better version of NBT-Edit.

Of course you can still use NBT-Edit if you want!

2.Search for %appdata% and go into the Roaming folder.
2.1.Go into your .minecraft folder, then into saves.
2.2 Choose the world, where you want to use commands.

3. Open the level.dat file with NBT-Explorer/NBT-Edit.
3.1. Click on the AllowCommands tag and then on the pencil tool.
3.2. Simply change the value from 0 to 1.
3.3. Press the save button.

4. Start Minecraft and open the world.

5. Now you can cheat!

I am aware of the fact that you can use LAN-Mode to activate cheats.
However, this is only a temporary solution and that is not what my blog is about.

You can use it to change your gamemode, the time or to give you items, but what about other commands like enchanting (not in NEI) or the scoreboard?

While they don't have Scoreboard support yet, they do have an enchanting option now.

I don't know if you misunderstood me...you need to go this way to interact with the scoreboard and other mods commands (like NBT-Edit) or for changing gamerules.
If you use TMI or NEI you can use only a few commands, even if it's enough for cheating, it's not enough for editing your world.
And you don't have to install any mods to activate cheating with NBT.

Yes. Even if you started a game without enabling cheats or if you use a world that was created before the cheat option was in the game, you can still enable cheats with NBT.

If you got an older world or if you forget to enable cheats, you'll have to go this way.

Or go LAN settings and press enable cheats... and anyways this ruins the game.
