Hello PMC Community,
I am writing this to you all, because I have yet to find something similar, I have Googled it etc... and turned up no results, So that Is why I am going to be explaining to you all how to change The color of the foliage of Birch trees.
So to get started I suppose I should say that, like all other modifications to a texture pack, where you end up putting the file will determine whether or not it works. Next, I will be showing you my Cherry Blossom file:
birchcolor.png
Feel Free to right click and "save as" this image, and save it as "birchcolor.png", and modify it however you like. Just post a link back to this thread if you put it in a Texture Pack, that you end up Posting.
After Downloading/Saving the .png we will now work on where to put it.
The Path: misc
How to get install
1) Right click on the texture pack.zip you wish to put it in, and either open with 7zip, Winrar etc.
2) After opening the .zip locate a folder named "misc", and proceed to double click on it. "Open it"
3) After opening the "misc" folder, locate where you saved the .png then drag it INSIDE the "misc folder"
4) After Copying the .png into the "misc" folder close the .zip
5) Drag the Modified .zip into your "texture packs" Folder, Found in your ".minecraft" folder
6) PLAY
Video Walk-Through:
Warning: Bad/low sounds at points, and not the greatest Video, But It gets the point across, and is My first video.
:-D
I'd like to thank whoever views this topic, I hope you all found it helpful and Original. If you like this Tutorial Please don't forget to toss a Diamond in my chest :D "Maybe even subscribe, I may have some more tutorials on the way"

Hmm, well It seems that one of two things happened. Either My tutorial was a waste of everyone's time, and there is already one out there, Or people think that it is useless.
The reason I say this is.... 61 views, and only 2 diamonds "Insert sadface.jpg"
All well, Ill get em next time.

If you are referring to all of the .png files that exist inside a Texture Pack, then yes, I am aware, or if you are referring to the other tree types "DarkWood" "Jungle" "Normal" then Yes I also realize that you can change the color of those leaves individually as well. However, I didn't see a need to change the leaf color of any other types, because they look fine, and as I stated in the video, The main reason I even changed Birch, was so that I could have Cherry Blossoms in my minecraft.
If there is anything I have missed, or If I didn't understand your comment, feel free to reply.

P.S. I do create Texture packs for personal use, I know what goes in them.
Thanks for the comment, I a tried to make a tutorial that would be helpful to the community, and at the same time, Still be a good post :D
