Texture Pack Tutorial [Easy]

Have you ever wanted to see minecraft in a new light? Well then texturepacks are here for you. Personally, I had trouble figuring out how to do texture packs. Such a simple thing, but many people said you needed to extract this or save that, and its not the case.
First, Find a texturepack you want. Then download it. (Make sure you are hitting the correct download link. On texturepack pages there tends to be many different type of download buttons that are lies)
Next, find your download folder, and move the texturepack to your desktop.
Then, open minecraft, open the texturepack folder, and drag the icon from your desktop to the folder.
Note: Some texturepacks need you to run McPatcher before they will work correctly.
