heh. I never imagined Io d ever sign up for one of these blog contests, but here I am typing this up anyways. Alright, onto topic: clouds? Sounds a bit weird, no? eh, whatever you feel then. This, as dull as it seems, is a subtle change rather than a major addition. Well, at least I feel that this is not so drastic as say...the potato in 1.4.
On the ridiculous scale, this is somewhere around two Ernest Hemingways to Nikola Tesla.
Io ve tried to make my blog as concise as possible, but I'm still expecting those few to stuff o THIS IS TOO LONGo down my throat. To save those people some time, there are TL;DRo s below the concept.
Clouds: They're pretty worthless
Description
Everyone who has not turned off clouds in Minecraft with some mod like Optifine should know that Minecraft has these chunks of translucent white blocks in the sky. We tend to ignore them because they do absolutely nothing for us! Besides ruining machinimas in Minecraft before they were raised to proper height level in some update (Io m assuming it was Beta 1.6.8.3.42), they really did and continue to do absolutely nothing. They dono t turn dark when a storm is coming, and they dono t have lightning come of out of them either. Either the clouds poop out lightning when we're not looking or Zeus likes to make forest fires and burn everything we love.
Don't forget I can make LIGHTNING CREEPERS too!
Well, now that Io ve just made out the clouds in Minecraft to be less than nothing (Air - 1; Clouds - 0), let me put some life back into it. Can we try cloud blocks? No, not the blocky nature of the clouds, but a new block completely called "cloud". I do not mean to making the current clouds completely immobile, those can stay. I see cloud blocks (the block!) as a relatively uncommon block in the sky. Ito d almost be like the white version of ice, except, well, not frozen and you cano t really walk on it or go faster and stuff! You could look into the sky and see the moving clouds and then- whato s that in the sky?! A plane? A bird? No, ito s a cloud block! Get it? Like, the Superman hero reference and all? Yeah?
No? Okay.
Here is the mandatory internet meme needed for this moment, I think. Io m not hip.
So, how would we gather this new block? No, not punching. Stop punching everything, you savages! Please dono t kill me, btw, kayo thanks. Capturing some clouds in a glass bottle sounds good, though. Right-click a cloud block with a glass bottle on hand to gather it, right-click the glass bottle with cloud again to place it. The end!
It makes sense.

TL;DR - Make new blocks to generate infrequently (ito s like cloud v2.0!...but it doesno t move or do anything still) + harvestable with glass bottles. Characteristics = transparent in coding, translucent visually (i.e. ice)

Looking back at this, I find that my writing is for some reason a weird attempt at Cracked.com writerso ...writing. Work, yeah, thato s better. I hope this doesno t transfer into my college applications. However, I've also noticed my text has progressively gotten shorter with each paragraph.
