This is a video showing how you to make a cobblestone factory / generator. What you will need is glass (or any other material you want to make the factory out of) redstone dust, repeaters, a redstone torch, a piston and a bucket of water and lava and of course a pickaxe to mine the cobble when it starts working. :D To turn it off you simply remove one of the pieces of redstone dust.
