The normal command blocks that are currently in minecraft version 1.4.5 are nice, you could make an fully playable version of tf2's 2 fort and dustbowl with them, but there is still something that would make them even better; the ability to use plugin commands.
For instance if you were to type in:
Then,
And then activate a block with this:
Then it would turn the area of 24, 24, 24 to 50, 50, 50 into stone.
This would be so helpful for adventure map makers, they could make wall disappear with the press of a button. You could even make a wireless redstone line with making the command blocks spawn in a redstone torch anywhere you want it to.
This doesn't just stop at worldedit, think about every single plugin that a admin has to be online to type in the command: "/start" now you don't have to do that, just hook up a command block system to do that for you. You could even make it so minecraft can use plugins, i.e. how in single player commands you can use plugin, well you would be able to use them in regular minecraft. People could even make custom plugins for single player adventure maps.
That was why I think this idea should be added into the game.
