Hi! Welcome to another blog of the command tutorial blog serie! In this chapter I will teach the command /effect.
For what´s serving: With this command you can put effects to another players or to you (Like strength (5), speed (1), jump boost (8), etc.). This command serves for clearing all effects from a player, too
How it work: For adding an effect to a player write this command where you chat or in a command block: /effect <playername> <effect ID> [seconds] [level of effect]. More the amount of level is the effect it will be more effective. For clearing all the effects from a player or from you you have to put this command: /effect <playername> clear.
Where you can use it: This command you can use it in singleplayer when the cheats are enable and in multiplayer if you are op.
All the IDs: 1 Speed - 2 Slowness - 3 Haste - 4 Mining Fatigue - 5 Strength - 6 Instant Health - 7 Instant Damage - 8 Jump Boost - 9 Nausea - 10 Regeneration - 11 Resistance - 12 Fire Resistance - 13 Water Breathing - 14 Invisibility - 15 Blindness - 16 Night Vision - 17 Hunger - 18 Weakness - 19 Poison - 20 Wither - 21 Health Boost - 22 Absorption - 23 Saturation.
