dragon egg?

the dragon egg

i just finished the game and retrieved the dragon egg with a piston.is there any use for it or is it useless and if so why does it have an item name when you scroll over it. does it eventually hatch into a baby dragon? also please leave any possible ideas of what to do with it in the comments

First try if it floats on water and then if it does try water and all the physics =)

So far, nothing, as far as I know... maybe some thing will be added in new patches... Its not like notch is done with npcs yet :p

And they are still.... use less... I can make a texture that makes them less... uh... squidwardy? But, I am a very bad coder... Guess we have to rely on millenaire until Notch finally gives them a use...
