Blocks of Emerald (also known as Emerald blocks) are mineral blocks that do not naturally generate in maps. Although their primary usage is decoration, they can also be used to store Emeralds compactly. To acquire a single Emerald block, one must craft a 3x3 emerald row in a Crafting table. Reacquiring the Emeralds simply involves placing the Emerald blocks into the crafting grid. It can also craft:
