Ok so i was playing the pre-release of 1.8 and i saw some endermen in a house. These screenshots are of them taking it apart. Endermen are harmless if you dont look strait at them. They're even kind of cute! One more note about the pre-release: Furnaces are bugged and will crash your game when you try to smelt things. This does not always happen but be careful when smelting.

so can they break stuff? and dont they attack u if u dont look at them?

they only attack when you look at them directly. (put the crosshairs on them) well they stay still, and when you look away they start running for you and if you're too far they'll teleport. Don't let them hit you, they do a lot of damage.

they only pick up blocks, and place them somewhere else.

When I smelt stuff or use furnaces my minecraft doesnt crash.

Though I guess it might sometime but it hasnt yet.

crap those enderman pearls or whatever they are BETTER have a good use or Notch will manage to hav pissed me off again (1st time was delay of 1.8...>:( )

One thing I wanna know is what is the purpose of Ender Pearls? Like what do they do?

they don't do anything yet, like slimeballs. Except slimeballs are now used to make sticky pistons. I hope notch uses ender pearls for something good.
