For years stories have been going around our village. I felt trapped myself, being only 14. I am Violet, and I am positive I am not human. I have a "gift', my mom used to say. I could move things with my mind. I did some research, and I think it's called "Telekinesis". It's so weird and cool. I've really just focused on using it for my own good, like getting books from the bookshelf. There's not much to do at the village, no electricity, thanks to god for making be be born from parents who were stranded upon an island. They met each other, built a house and lived there, and then a whole community came out from behind the bushes. I sometimes imagine they are impostors, and pretend I'm a detective spy, but my mother doesn't think that's very ladylike. It's so unfair, the guys get to be killing things while I'm locked up in this house just cleaning everything! Anyways, back to the point. Those two people were my great-great-great-great-great-great-great Grandparents. It wasn't always this way, the cleaning the house thing and no electricity AND nothing to do sort of thing. My Great-Great-Great-Great Grandparents were in the time where we had all of that stuff. We all took for granted the items, and thought we would always have them. You know, the electricity. That was before the creatures were introduced. You know, the regular, Creepers, Enderman, Zombies, spiders. A few years after that, when my great-(You know) parents turned about 29, they came and started to raid everything we even had. So then, we had no protection against them. The children of my great-(you know, once again) parents hid. They were given some protection while the rest of the village fell, and my favorite part, died. Those two children re-created the village but had no idea how to make electricity, and since then, no one else has. So now, I'm trapped just reading books.

could use a little more detail, and an easier-to-read format, but other than that, it's good.
