Hey there, I'm here to talk about the Fancy texts. The fancy texts are those colored, jumbled, etc. texts you see on fancy servers/maps/whatever. Well, I'm here to teach you how to do those.
First off, meet §. I'm not sure the real name for the § symbol, but I like to call it Simoleon. Simoleon, our buddy, is the main key to getting all of these "fancy text" designs.
Right here is a brief description on what to do, but I suggest you read on.
Also, you should note § is a rather hard symbol to find, so you might wanna bookmark this page.
First off, color coding. You type §0-9 for color. it goes as follows:
§1 §2 §3 §4 §5 §6 §7 §8 §9 §a §b §c (1.7 and below: §c ) §d §e
Next is the non-color codes.
§k text =
§l text = text
§m text = text
§n text = text
§o text = text (this should do italics, but it's not displaying italics, for me at least.)
§r text = text (normal)
Now finally, you should know that to post like this on servers, it requires a plugin such as ChatManager, and for puting in a singleplayer world (such as in a book for example) you're gonna wanna write in the book, sign and close, exit the world, download NBTExplorer and open the world file and add a § command.
