We have all been there, playing Minecraft for the first time, not realizing the setting to set it on peaceful mode. And right when your turning around there is a creeper behind you, making you jump back in your chair, blowing up your character, etc. the list goes on. Right? From when I first started to play, I was (and I admit) spooked of those little skeleton archer's and spiders. My reasons? The skeletons first off have the most freakiest faces when you turn around and they're right there in your face, and when they shoot you, their little dang arrows are always lodged in your neck, which frankly in real life, would KILL you. ಠ_ಠ

The spiders? There are many reason's, mostly with my fear of spiders. The thought of them crawling up the wall in your bedroom at night scares the crap out of me, and even worse in the game at night by how they are at least fifty sizes bigger then a full grown tarantula. (Starting to see what I'm getting out here?) 



Anyhow, thats a thing we have to avoid in Minecraft to SURVIVE! We need the spiders string and eyeballs to create and craft. So in a way, I defeated my fears of spiders (at least 5%) by beating one up with a shovel. It was a good feeling, and it still is. And thats what I'm trying to prove here, we need to face our fears in the game to win, while it also improves our real-world fears. Lets say I have a friend who just watched Dawn Of The Dead, and has the worst case of Zombiephobia or somthing like that. Later, when on minecraft they can default their fears by killing the zombies on minecraft with a sword, or you know, there are those people who play the game with all the lights off on their headphones with high volume and are still terrified after the experience...Point proven, the game can help you.
