FIRE

I wandered through the night, the warm wind touching my bare face. I didn't want this night to end, especially like this. It was a perfect night. Until... *BOOM!!!!* There was a huge explosion. I looked behind myself to find... My house! It was burning! My parents! Were they alright? Are they alive? Thoughts rushed in my head as I started to panic. I started running to my burning house. "MOM! DAD!" I tripped on a branch. "Mom, dad..." I closed my eyes and started crying. I was so worried. I quickly stood back up and started running again. When I got there, my house had almost burned down to nothing. This perfect night.... Had turned into a nightmare. I ran around, searching for my parents. "Cin...der..." I turned around to see my mom, lying in the grass. "MOM!" I rushed over and kneeled at her side. "Mom, are you ok?" My mom just looked at me with painful eyes and coughed up come blood. Then, it hit me. She won't make it. "Mom." I stood up. "Honey, I-" My mom then breathed like she was having a heart attack. "AHHHHHH!" She screamed. Mom, I gotta help you... No matter what... I didn't care. If she had a huge chance of dying. I'd still try to save her. I took out my phone and dialed 9-1-1. Answer fast, oh PLEASE answer fast! "Hello?" "HELP ME!" "Calm down, child!" "HE-" I noticed my mom wasn't breathing. I dropped my phone. "Hello? Hello?!" I fell to my mother's side. "Mom... I'm sorry I couldn't help you..." Tears stung my eyes, and the heat was intense. *BOOM!* I noticed my phone blew up. It was too hot. I took my mom and dragged her out of the blazing heat. I propped her against a tree, and left her there. I stood up and looked out towards the city. There, people watched horrified while pointing to my house. looked back down at mom. "Mom. I'm sorry all of our things have gone to waste... I'm so sorry!" I started running away. I had one question in my mind as I was running. Where is dad?
