Have you ever had a great vision of something in your head like this?

But When you try to build it...

In This Tutorial I will show you how to make certain buildings look like there real.
Note: No need for a texture pack on this one. The Default textures work just as well!
Lets say you built a nice little house in a desert.

At first it may look nice, but is it really the best thing in the world? Ask your self questions about it like;
Does the Cobblestone roof match the rest of the desert?
or
Does it have any contrast at all?
Here are five ways you can make this little home look like a millionaires humble home.
1. Play around with different materials Like logs, leaves, bricks, wool, etc. etc.
2. Add definition to the build. See the difference?
Example:

3. Add more detail than before, make it so it looks realistic. In the example below I simply used smooth sandstone instead of the normal cracked version. I also put logs next to the door and other window panes.
It adds allot more detail and it defines the window from the rest of the house.
Example:

4. Little things can make it a whole lot better.
Add fences to the roof or add trapdoors as window shutters and even take it a step further by adding half-slabs as a roof over the windows.
Example:

5. Finally, the interior. The interior is the most important part of any good build. With out it, the exterior is only a shell with no secrets behind its layers.
When making an interior add a bed or maybe even a lamp. Depending on the size of your build you could build a fish tank or a kitchen. The possibilities are endless. Here is an example of what you could do in a 3x3 space:

I hope you take my 5 easy steps into effect and start building with these techniques.
