I think in Minecraft there should be a flashlight that uses batteries. It can slowly start to flicker when it goes out. But to make batteries we would need a new ore like copper maybe so you can create a battery for the flash light. To craft it you can use iron around a piece of glowstone. But it doesn't start with batteries you have to craft the batteries why the flahlight. This would be good for cave effects.
