another story for another event <3 hopefully won't end like the last one
hopefully.
(im writing this before i actually write the story)
also this book takes place during covid, so thats why they're (the character) was wearing a mask
i cried, not knowing the reason why. my tears were flowing into my mask, the warm, salty liquid dropping into my mouth. i sat there, motionless as my tears streamed down my cheeks.
i sat there, cross-legged, my ebony hair blocking view around me. my glasses were stained by with tears, flowing like and endless waterfall.
the warm sun shone through the leaves, the grass swaying lightly to the wind. i closed my eyes and let the sun embrace me.
the grass shone under the sunlight, its dewdrops brighter than ever.
the wind whistled through the air, sending the chirps of songbirds and the buzzing of the bees into my ears, sending every fallen petal and leaf through the breeze.
in vast ocean of grass, dandelions popped out, groups and groups of beautiful golden yellows.
at that moment, i felt...
the comfort of spring
as you can probably tell, im very much more of a descriptive writing kinda person, i dont really like to use dialogue and instead stick to describing actions and surroundings instead :)
this piece is an entry for the Spring Event, hosted by the Happy Hearts' group! I want to make another entry, a skin, for this event but we'll have to see if i have enough time :'D
