Hello everyone Mark here and today I'm going to talk about getting DDOSed and how to avoid it.

What is DDOS?
DDOS stands for Distributed Denial Of Service. DDOSing is in fact illegal so don't try to DDOS someone

What does it do?
DDOS overflows the computer with packets making it to crowded for packets to go out and in to your computer.

What is a "Packet"?
Packets are data units that are formatted.So basically packets are data sent by websites, servers, etc. so you can use them.

How do I protect myself from getting DDOSed?
You can protect yourself from getting DDOS by buying DDOS protection. but if you protect yourself from getting DDOS without having to pay a fee then read on.
A person can only DDOS you if they know your IP address so avoid giving out your IP address to people you don't trust. But if you have a minecraft server or a website you should probably get DDOS protection.

Well what if one of these "kids" open a minecraft server and he/she gets DDOSed and they don't know what it is.
