INTRO: This is a guide to show you what to do on your first few minutes in a Minecraft world. It will explain how to build your house, how to make an organized chest system, and much more.

GETTING STARTED: Upon loading the world, you should waste no time and immediately start gathering wood. Depending on your biome, you may find oak, birch, jungle, or pine wood(My personal preference is oak). Immediately start gathering wood. The optimal amount of wood you should gather is 64 Wood Logs. At this moment, you do not need to be incredibly concerned with gathering food or additional items, but if you see any sand, gather 14 for the windows of your house..

HOUSE BUILDING: Walk around a little bit until you find an open area. When you find an area that is flat and has a space of 15x15, clear anything on the ground there. Craft a crafting table and turn your wood into wooden planks. Make a 9x9 frame of your house. Make a hole in the center of one side to place a door. The exterior of your house should look like this.

NOTE: Sorry if this is confusing.

KEY:
E = Wooden Planks
D = Door
G = Glass Block

FRONT:
EEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEE
EEGEDEGEE
EEEEDEEEE

SIDES:
EEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEE
EEGGEGGEE

EEEEEEEEE

BACK:
EEEEEEEEE

EEEEEEEEE

Once the exterior is created fill in the roof.

Congratulations! You just made a house! The next thing you need to do is put two wooden planks in the front corners of your house to put torches on. Place your crafting table in the far right corner of your house. Resort to the following key to see what the inside should look like.

INSIDE VIEW FROM TOP:
E = Wooden Planks
W = Crafting Table
F = Furnace
D = Build wall with Wooden Planks Here.
T = Wooden Plank with Torch on it.
P = Wooden Plank one block above floor with nothing on it.
B = Bed

EEEEEWF
EDDDDEE
EEPPEEE
EEEEEEE
EEEEEEB
EEEEEEB
TEEEEET

NOTE: On the second layer of the Wooden Plank wall, put two glass blocks. On the side that is next to the Crafting Table, empty that space and place a torch.

Your see that area behind the wall that has nothing there? That will be where your mine and Storage Area begins!

STORAGE ROOM:

First off, make eight chests. Dig down in a staircase fashon until your head is just below the floor of your house. On your left will be the enchanting room, but we'll get to that later. For now, dig six blocks to the left. It should look like this:

S = Stone
C = Chest
D = Wall
P = Staircase to house

DDDDDDDDD
DDDCCDCCD
DSSSSSSSD
DPDCCDCCD
DPDDDDDDD

ORGANIZATION:

Right now, you have four double chests. Them being organized is absolutely essential to your survival.

First Chest on Left:

Mining

Cobblestone
Sand
Dirt
Sandstone
Stone Bricks
Coal
Flint
Netherrack
Soul Sand
Stone
Obsidian
and other items like that.

Second Chest on left:

Misc.

Food
Saplings
Bones
Water
Potions
Wool
And other organic items

First Chest on Right:

Building, Tools, and Redstone

Redstone
Tools
Wood
Minecarts
Flint and Steel
Doors
Pressure Plates
Iron Bars
Glass
And other items like this.

Second Chest on Right:

Valuables

Iron
Gold
Diamond
Emerald
Eye of Ender
Lapis Lazuli
TNT
Written Books
Enchanted Items

THE MINE:

Keep on digging in the staircase until you find a cave. If you reach bedrock, dig back up until you find a cave. When you find a cave, be sure to be prepared. Go into the cave with a sword, a pickaxe, torches, and full health. When you are mining, light up the dark areas. If you are deep underground and see a vein of any ore at all, dig it out completely. It usually leads you to another cave.

Thanks for reading, if you guys like this, I will continue it.
