Introduction:
Hello, IN recent events there is a new password change, because of minecraft hackers. So, today I have a blog which could change all of this or at least a small part of it.
What Happened:
There was a message that stated that there had been a new password change for PMC.

o Password security is very important, not only on PMC but for your security on the Internet as a whole. Recently, we have had issues of people losing their Minecraft accounts to hackers - while for many people this wouldn't be a big issue, a lot of individuals use one password for many services, which essentially means that not only was their Minecraft account hacked, but also their PMC account, Twitter account, and possibly even emails.
It is quite possible that there is an issue going on with Mojang's login service which is allowing this sort of thing to happen, as all of the recent instances appear to begin with that user being spotted on servers griefing. This also implies that these people are all using one password for many services. For the reasons listed above, we do not believe that the recent hackings were a result of PMC's security, but rather the security of Mojang's login server. We are, however, going to be focusing our efforts on patching any holes and creating a much more secure environment for every user on PMC.
To recap: Minecraft accounts were hacked, which allowed the hacker to gain access to many other services these people use. Many of these people were high level users & moderators - nobody is safe from this specific type of attack. PMC recommends highly that the users take the following precautions before doing anything else:o
What Can We Do?
When I was reading this, I was not aware of this. This news was big for me, so I started to think o What Can We Do?o So I thought about the different types of hackers.
1. The Daily Hacker- These are the people sitting in their room/garage/basement, just hacking people because they got nothing better to do.
2. The Desperate Hacker- These are the people that want this or that so they hack to get it.
3. The Angry Hacker- These are the people that are angry at someone so they hack to get revenge.
All 3 or these have one thing in common they are all trying to hack. Now, I have ideas to stop each type of hacking. So read the next section.
How To Stop o The Daily Hackero :
Daily hackers are the most dangerous in my opinion, so we have to have a fool proof plan to stop these people. The first thing I thought of was to o See and Tello no I hate being a snitch or a tattletale, but I think it is one of the ways to stop this. Now o See and Tello plan is basically if you see someone hacking tell someone that is capable of stopping it. Also get some evidence for brownie points.
How To Stop o The Desperate Hackero :
Desperate hackers are usually hacking for perks in a videogame or in Minecrafto s case, a way to play un-cracked minecraft. A way Mojang can help us with this is to lower the minecraft price from the currently $26.95 (Source) Now, the price is up because minecraft is famous. Now if your saying o Minecraft is a popular game if they sell it for $10 they can still make a lot of moneyo Well yes and no. The yes factor is o Yes they will make money.o The No factor is o No they also need to maintain minecraft to the best level possibly and they need to pay for other expenses (such as electricity)o I also thought they might need extra money for what all us minecraft players are demanding. So a way Mojang could reduce the price could be, us the Community not demand but ask, then Mojang could make a list of what we want, we can vote for the top 3 and maybe as a surprise they add 1 or 2 extra stuff and we are all happy and they dono t need more money to add like 10- 20 different things per update.
How To Stop Angry Hacker:
Dono t piss off other people!!! :P im joking, a way to stop this is the o See and Tello , that you and server owners, need to do. Also Change your passwords daily to weekly.
Conclusion:
If we can do all this, maybe we can stop hacking. Also leave feedback on what you think are ways to stop hacking. And remember Hacking Is Illegal!
