Help me install maps.

Hello!

I want to find out how to instal custom maps!

If you tell me...

I will post minecraft mods.

But if I do...

I will put link in description.

So you know how to install the mod.

The link will be youtube.

I did not make the tutorial for that mod.

So Please! help me install custom maps.

This is FOR WINDOWS, I don't know how to do this on Mac since I've never owned one.

Click Start and type in Run into the search bar
Copy and paste this in
C:Users(Type your user here)AppDataRoaming
If you have WinRar, just go into AppData then Roaming.

Find your .minecraft folder and open the folder "Saves"

Drag the map's file in (Make sure it's a FOLDER not a .zip or .rar) to that folder

Start minecraft, hit singleplayer and the map should be in your saves
