Hello, as you probably know, the final version of Minecraft is coming out this Thursday. I am here to talk about what Minecraft has gone through for me.
I had just gotten into the idea of games as art and was starting to play indie games. When I heard about Minecraft, I thought it was amazing. A world made of Lego's and there's an infinite amount of them. I sadly entered Minecraft with an idea of what to do, but I enjoyed it, I loved it. A while later, I had become bored of single-player and was looking for a server. My mom overheard me and told me that a friend of her's had a kid my age and played Minecraft, and had a server.
I was amazed, I got on and played. I played with Green_Razor (the kid) and it was fun. I had never played multi-player. When I told my friends of the adventures I had, they ignored me. They mocked me in friendly manner, but I still wish they had tried it. I was then talking to a friend of mine, he asked me if I heard of Minecraft. I smiled.
I invited him on the server where we all still play, Yelodementor, bmanhawk, Green_Razor, and even Green's parent's played, so Unspun, Knifestorm, and more later on like adairfamily (who griefed me).
This is an amazing game that I have loved for close to a year now. It has never bored me, and I will probably love it for many more years. This game means very much to me.
