im going to give credits to : CreativeSkins because he/she post this blog on how to hide a chest so now im going to tell you on how to hide a house
1. Lava :
material:
-lava
-water
-sign
dig a 3x3 hole 10 layers deep, put sign in the 7 and 4 layer. at layer 1-3 put lava and at layer 5-6 put water.
once you get in the lava you will quickly get to the water which is save. no one would dare to enter that house but you might have a hard time to get out so make an exit.
2.Paintings
materials:
-painting
-iron door (optional)
put the painting in a wall, destroy the painting until you got the huge one. now dig a the wall behind the painting, start by digging the wall in the right of the painting then dig to the left to prevent the painting being destroy. if you want to add iron door you need to have some wiring UNDERNEATH and hide a lever behind another painting
3.Nether Portal
materials:
-obsidian
-flint and steel
-lever
-repeater
-redstone
-sticky pistons
first DIG out a quiet long corridor and build your house at the end of the corridor. cover your house with some blocks that can be moved by sticky pistons. put a lever hidden behind a wall. put the sticky pistons facing the wall you made before. now you just need to do some wiring so both lever (one in the base and the other hidden outside the base) can turn on and off the sticky pistons. build a nether portal to the wall with the sticky pistons
