Ok, so, you are probably one of those players who is too lazy to install mods, dont worry! This one is EASY!
Required: Computer, WinRAR, A brain, Ability to read, And a workable Arm :D
So, letsget started!
Step 1: go to mccapes.com and at the top there should be the words "Enter your Minecraft usernameto get started:" Type your IGN and click "Next" then if you havent made an account it should say "It appears this is your first time here, Please choose a password to use in the future:" enter your MINECRAFT password, then click "register" you can log in whenever you want to now, you are a member (if you already have an account just type in your password and "login")
Step 2: Click on "my cape" when this happens you will come to a page that shows your current cape, if you have one and you wanna change it uncheck "cape enabled? (use this cape?) and click "stop using cape, if you dont have a cape if will say No cape currently selected!
Step 3: to put on a cape you click "Go to cape gallery" then select your style from the THOUSANDS people design and post :D, when you find the cape you want to use click "use this cape" then click "save option" then click at the top left of the page ( the Minecraft Capes logo) to get to the home page. Step 4: Now, you will download and install the mod, at the home page click "download now" and it will take you to a page with all the downloads listed,
Click the version you wish to dowload ( I prefer the mc capes "extra" mod second from the top) Click "Mod download for Minecraft v1.5 - Hosted on MCCapes.com (<- Ad link removed) "
and it will take you to "Adf.ly" ( dont worry look at the top right and wait for the 5 second timer then click "Skip AD" and it will download) then close the "Adf.ly" tab and open the "WinRAR" archive, now, PAY ATTENTION! Highlight and copy everything in that archive EXCEPT the file named ".." Then, If you have "WINDOWS" go to your windows button at the bottom LEFT! and search "%appdata%" and click on the result "roaming" look for the file called ".minecraft" double click on it, then click on the file named "bin" , then click on the java archive that says "minecraft" ONCE! ONLY CLICK IT ONCE TO HIGHLIGHT IT!!!!!!!!!! then right click it, move your mouse over "Open With" and select "WinRAR file archiver" Then paste the files from earlier into the archive (be careful its in the file and not pasted into another one) Then Right click "META-INF" and click Delete files, windows will send you a message saying "are you sure?" click YES! (note: if you dont delete this, the mod wont work) After this you can save the archive, and close all the files, open minecraft go into third person, and look how SEXY you look :P, hope this helped, enjoy your cape! -noochnexus (P.S. if minecraft updates repeat this process with the latest version of MC Capes :D"
