How To Create An Image For Your Post: Part 1

Today, I'm going to go through some of the types of images you can put on your post, and what they can do for your post. This Part 1 is going to be about the Project Image.

To begin, I would like to say that the image is the brand of that post. You want to make it bright, not too technical but appealing. A small amount of Photoshop or Paint can help your boring, dull image that you saved off the internet into becoming a bright, vibrant image that people are interested in. People will also remember that big, brilliant image and pass information on. You never know!

To begin, we shall start on screenshots. When uploading a screenshot, and taking it, make sure you are giving a 3D view of everything you've made. Photoshop it and give it the name of the post, and if you wish, brighten the image and add some more pictures. It can make a huge difference and gives the eye more to work on. Here is a basic image that I took that has no Photoshop, and no special features:

As you can see, no effort has been made to improve this image, either with Photoshop or just the general screenshot, it being 2D. You can't see the full building from the front, and so many people forget this! Let's take this image, and make it 3D with no Photoshop or editing.

As you can see, this is a much better image. But..... we are most certainly not finished! We need some Photoshop, some editing and just a few finishing touches. To begin, let's give a title to our image!

Quite a bit better! Do we need anything else? I think yes! Get another image that can give the eye something more to look at. I'm going to simply use my avatar.

This is the very basics of making a title image. I think I have made a mistake by using the Sphax Pure BdCraft texture pack, it being not as realistic as the LB Realistic texture pack. The image is going to have to look something professional, and the Sphax texture pack doesn't really back that up. But it will have to do for now!

Thanks for reading, and if you want to see more, diamond and subscribe! It would be much appreciated and I will get to making a Part 2!

I did most of this stuff on Paint. I was just putting Photoshop there because quite a lot of people have it.

it would look better with paint.net because it has layers and then your avatar will look like its in the build itself
