If you create an adventure map you will need to build a complete checkpoint system if you want to change the player original spawn to another one.Here you can learn how to do that easy :
1.You will need a command block
2.Put down the command block and see your coordinates ( x y z)
3.Right click on command block and write the text from the image
4.Put a button in front of command block and push it once
5.Go away and kill yourself
6.You will respawn at your checkpoint
